Hello again all. I know its been a while since my last post so I figured time to post again. Lets see whats new and exciting. Well I was in St. John's for Canada day and participated in the Beaumont Hamel Memorial Day Parade I'm the one behind the Airforce guy.

Before the day of the parade is was cold wet and miserable weather and I ended up sailing out of St. John's with a sinus infection. Yippee.

Above are two pictures of St. John's harbour and on the right is a picture of Signal Hill where Marconi sent the very first Trans Atlantic signal from.

In all the pictures you can see the wonderful grey weather that was hanging over the city for the first 4 days we were in port. Hence the reason I got sick as a dog. I guess the fact that I got falling down stinking drunk the first night in didn't help. But it was fun.

Just before we sailed for St. John's I got a big surprise... I'm posted off of Athabaskan to the Canadian Forces Naval Engineering School (CFNES for short). I am up at CFNES now and I am a Lab Assistant. Yep thats right I am helping new sailors learn their trade. How scary is that.

This means no more sailing for me for a while. The posting should be for 2 years but I doubt it will last that long.

I"ll post again soon.
